Monday
Candlelight Vigil
Monday, January 25 @ 7:00 pm
Hendricks Chapel Steps
A vigil to reflect on the legacy and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Immediately following the vigil, we will continue to make the dream a reality
through the enjoyment of gospel music by the Black Celestial Choral Ensemble of Syracuse University.

Tuesday
Capturing the Dream

January 26, 5:00 - 6:30 pm
Panasci Lounge - Schine
This art display will feature the work of school children from Franklin Magnet, Dr. Martin Luther King and Edward Smith elementary schools in Syracuse. The artists’ pieces will relate to the life, legacy and dream of Dr. King. London Ladd, illustrator of the children’s book, March On! The Day My Brother Martin Changed the
World by Christine King-Ferris, will be signing copies of this book. The first
25 students to arrive will receive a free copy of March On. A reception will
follow.


Wednesday
Documentary: “Nigger” by Director Thea St.Omer

Poetry Night

Verbal Blend Poets is a collective of voices that contribute to – one mic – one voice. They’re diverse in their career paths – diverse in their writing styles – diverse in their stage presence and diverse in bringing their poetic stories to a global community.

Campus Wide Day of Service

Come out and lend your hand to making someone else's life all the better.

Performance Showcase
January 29 at 7:00 pm
Skybarn - South Campus
