Tomorrow, Monday August 31 we will have a general interest meeting in the Haven Main Lounge at 7 PM for all who are interested in getting involved with the H2W Hall Council (even if that interest is itty bitty).

The council is open to all who live in Haven, Walnut or Washington Arms.

It’s going to be a battle between the Orange and the Blue, so come ready with your ‘80s, ‘90s, and SU trivia knowledge. Many prizes and giveaways to be awarded. Teams will be made
at the door, so come by yourself or bring your friends.

All students should make all efforts to be at the extremely important First Haven Floor Meetings that will begin at 630 PM in the lounge of each floor. Please be prompt!


Home to the Dome. 9 - 11 PM. The Dome

Learn how we rock the house with our Orange Pride. Cheer, chat, stomp, yell, laugh, and enjoy some great music and prizes. Residential students will come with their Resident Advisors (RAs) and orientation leaders (OLs) and their hall floors to the Carrier Dome at 9 p.m.

Late Night at the Gym. 1030 PM - 1 AM. Archbold Gym
Enjoy a variety of recreational activities including open swim, volleyball, and basketball. The fitness center is also available for working out. Valid SU or ESF ID Card required.

H2W Programming (aka Meet the People in Your Neighborhood). 11 PM - 1 AM. See floor advertisement
Get to know your fellow neighbors and hallmates in an evening of fun and entertainment.

Wed and Thurs Move-In Reminders



The time has finally come for the year to begin!

Here's a few reminders regarding first-year student move-in into Haven on Wednesday and Thursday:

- Full assisted move-in for first-year students at Haven commences at 9 AM and goes until 5 PM both Wednesday and Thursday. Make sure to come during the time that your move-in pass denotes (don't forget to bring your pass!) and look for people to assist and direct you.

- Make sure to take advantage of the free breakfast (730 - 10 AM) and lunch (11 AM - 3 PM) at all of the dining halls around campus.

- Health Services will be available at their offices at 111 Waverly Ave from 830 AM - 5 PM

- Check out the Taking Care of Business Hospitality Tent on the Quad from 11 AM - 5 PM on Wed. and 9 AM - 5 PM on Thurs. for a chance to get to talk to various campus offices face-to-face.

Beth stands as a testament of love for Syracuse, as she did her undergraduate work here and now is working ever so diligently on her Masters. Her door is always open (unless it's closed) and heartily enjoys working with the glorious H2W community. She enjoys organization, plans and walking far distances to use friend's kitchen appliances. Her hope is that you get involved in the numerous activities here in H2W and that you have one stupendous year!
